Dr. Preeti M Hurakadli
MBBS, MS, FMRF, FAICO, Consultant Ophthalmologist.
Specialized in Pediatric ophthalmology, Neuro ophthalmology and Cataract surgery. She completed her MBBS from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka (RGUHS) securing highest among ladies in final year MBBS in 2006, Post graduation from KLE university’s Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum, Karnataka with Gold medal in 2011.
She then perused fellowship in Pediatric ophthalmology and Neuro Ophthalmology from prestigious institute Sankara Netralaya (Unit of Medical Research Foundation, Chennai and Kolkota) in 2013.
She served as associate consultant in Aditya Birla Sankara Netralaya, Kolkata 2013-2016. She then moved to Bangalore and worked as consultant ophthalmologist at Karthik Netralaya 2016-2017 before joining us at B W lions Shri Vidyasagar Institute of ophthalmology in 2019. She has 13 years’ experience in the field of Ophthalmology. She is a good clinician, highly proficient in adult cataract surgeries, Squint (strabismus) surgery and pediatric cataract surgeries.
She is Member of Karnataka Ophthalmic society All India Ophthalmic society Indian Neuro Ophthalmic society Strabismus and Pediatric ophthalmological society. She has attended various State, National and International conferences and has presented her work. She has international publications in her honor.
Dr. Swapna Pathak

Dr Swapna Pathak is a medical retina and general ophthalmologist with 13+ years of experience. She completed her basic medical education from the prestigious Bangalore Medical College.
In Bangalore 2005 and DNB (Ophthal) from Prabha Eye Clinic Jayanagar Bangalore. (2010)
Her medical retina fellowship was completed in 2013 from Retina Institute of Karnataka.
Dr. Swapna is a member of K Karnataka Ophthalmic society and All India Ophthalmic society She is well versed in retinal lasers, intravitreal injections and diabetic retinopathy.
Dr. Roopaswini Amarendra

Dr. Roopaswini Amarendra is a glaucoma specialist trained in long term RGUHS fellowship. Well versed in glaucoma lasers like Nd- YAG peripheral iridotomy and glaucoma surgeries including trabeculectomy, transscleral cyclophotocoagulation and micro pulse transscleral cyclophotocoagulation. Adept in diagnostic modalities of glaucoma.
